This is odd, I must admit that, but probably our girlfriends will consider this great news: it was announced at the Game Developers Conference this year that Hello Kitty will become a US MMORPG via Sanrio Digital and Aeria Games. And, to be honest, since there are so many Hello Kitty products in the world (from adult toys to stickers), a MMO was really necessary.

Perez Start says that you can select from several characters like Hello Kitty, Badtz-Maru, Cinnamoroll, My Melody, Kerropi, Pochacco, Purin, Muffin, and Scone and you will be able to join guilds, customize your avatars and so on, like in any other MMORPG out there.

Unfortunately, there is no solid release date announced, but it might be sooner than later. So all guys should take their dose of PC gaming, because when the Hello Kitty MMO launches, the girls will certainly take it from us.
