We love strange things and we love them even more if they’re connected with the world of video games. So you can imagine how happy I was when I found out on SpriteStich these great metal NES controller who come either in a Bronze version or a classy aluminum one. They both look great and are probably hidden somewhere deep inside a vault or something, since the creator of the controllers has no plans to do any more.
“This was a very one time thing for me, I really don’t have the resources to do it a second time, but I did make these and I still at least own the aluminum ones,” wrote their creator, Kenneth Botsford Jr. on his blog. I wonder where the bronze ones are now. They certainly worth a lot of money, don’t you think?
If you are planning to try your hand and create some replicas, you should know that Kenneth used wax to create them, used silicon molds for the shape and.. uhm… aluminum and bronze. Shouldn’t be too difficult if you have the “ingredients”, right?
Oh, and by the way, if you’re still here, the author of the metal NES controllers also writes: “I also use to have a human skull in aluminum and bronze. I also have a aluminum penis and vagina.” That’s odd!
