LAW Is an Action MMO for Adults

law-character-artI must admit that I considered the announcement of LAW, an upcoming MMORPG, pretty funny. First of all, because it has its dose of Engrish and second because the main selling point of the game (fully named Living After War) is the fact that it’s a game for adults. But not that you-know-what-type-of-game, it appears.

The second strongest point of the game is that CEO Jang Wook Lee is connected with the game. And if you don’t know who CEO Jang Wook Lee, let us tell you: the lead artist at Blizzard north Entertainment USA! Cool, right?

Also, according to the announcement of the game, we find out that: “The biggest characteristic of L.A.W. is that CEO Lee, who designed ‘Diablo,’ and a famous director who has worked on many hit movies, including the Star Wars have jointly worked on the conceptual design to use their imaginations to design very unique future scenes.” And this statement makes me understand that George Lucas worked on the game. He’s the director of the Star Wars – and if this is indeed true, it might be a better game than it sounds!

Still, there are no actual details: we know that there will be two warring factions in the game: the humans and the Niks, who are fighting for supremacy in a post-apocalyptic world. And from the press release: “inside the game players can enjoy combats using flying objects, vehicles, and defensive towers to plunder and attack the other tribe and to defend themselves.” Also “the game offers a strong Action Skill Rage System that enables combats with higher levels and a betting system where individuals or groups can place bets through PvP.”

LAW or Life After War has just got out of the alpha stage, so we’re hoping for some real details and less funny information from CEO Jang Wook Lee.
