God of War III Looks Like Nothing You’ve Ever Played

The title is actually a statement which was made by God of War I director David Jaffe in his official blog after getting the chance to take a look at some actual gameplay footage (he did not went to detail exactly what he saw unfortunately). Also, following the “colorful” comments posted by Jaffe, it appears that God of War III will look much better than Gears of War II. This is getting very interesting.

The official post says the following (except for the “f” words):

“I saw GOD OF WAR III when I was in Santa Monica last week. I can and will not give away details. But I think it’s ok for me to say two things:

a- Holy Holy Holy **** Hell!
b- I thought Gears of Wars 2 looked about as good as a next-gen game could look… and that game is currently- and will probably remain- my game of the year. And hell, I think I actually get to vote on that kind of stuff in some circles :) And unless I get blown away by POP or something else I missed, Gears 2 is the s***… this year. Dudes and dudettes, ***** WAIT till you see the amazing graphics [of God of War III]”

Here you go, he seems to be very enthusiastic about this. And as long as it’s not something like a Molyneux syndrome, it’s great! Now all we have to do is wait for some actual gameplay footage and decide if he was right or not.
