FarmVille Lost Christmas Tree: How to Get It Back


After reading some of your comments on the article in which I talked about the introduction of the Christmas tree in FarmVille, I noticed that some of you have a really sad problem: your Christmas tree has disappeared from FarmVille and it appears to be completely lost. Below I will tell you how to get your lost Christmas Tree back to your farm!

No matter if you “lost” the tree due to a refresh of the farm, you sold it by mistake (or on purpose) or whatever, here is what you should do in hopes that you will get your Christmas Tree back:

1. Follow all the steps listed by Zynga here. This is some troubleshooting related to the “Farmville has been enhanced” error, but they say that it might bring you back the tree. So give it a try, even if you have a bunch of stuff to save before that!

2. Unfortunately, many people are reporting that they still didn’t get their Christmas tree back after following all the steps. All that is left to do at the moment is to send them a ticket asking for help. The official Zynga forums are already flooded with requests from people trying to find help, and I am sure that if the developers will see how many fans of their game are in trouble, they will work something out – probably the most suitable solution being that of offering the tree as a purchasable object in the market.

UPDATE: If you somehow lost your Christmas Tree, DO NOT WORRY, Zynga has confirmed to one of our readers (Mrs. Lee) that they are working on a fix and soon there will be a solution for this problem. You can read Zynga’s full response below:

Thank you for letting us know about the issue regarding the Holiday Tree. You were not alone in experiencing this issue as many of our users have reported various issues related to the Holiday Tree. This encompasses missing Holiday Trees, max gift capacity reached in Holiday Trees, and requests for another Holiday Tree. We are aware of these issues and our developers have been working hard to resolve them.

We would like to reassure you that if you are among those that do not have a Holiday Tree, there will soon be a fix within the near future. If you are unable to access the tree again, please do not worry. Our developers are addressing this problem and are currently working on a new feature that should resolve the Holiday Tree issue soon.

Again we apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

    I don’t want a tree- becuse I dont celebrate christmas, but I want to display my gifts. So either make a Menorah available or give me a way to display my gifts without the darn tree!

    I had the problem of purchasing in the store a gift to “SEND” . it was a baby Turkey. I sent two gifts. The first one showed up immediately on my page as sent. The second gift, two minutes later had a “not able to post” error message and my gift and FV$ were gone. I immediately contacted Zynga through their website, NOT the “contact” at the bottom of the screen. They gave my gift almost immediately. My intended “gift receiver” also sent them notification of my gift not arriving. The problem was solved quickly by contacting them through their Zynga.com page. NOT the “contact” link at the bottom of the page.

    You can now buy the “Holiday Tree” in the market under the tree tab. Costs 10 coins and the limit is 1, you get +5 XP for planting it too. If your tree is stuck in your gift box then you have to sell it in order for it to work.

    I’ve just read the message of Zynga Customer Support but is there any way to delete/remove any presents inside my Holiday Tree so that I put the Special Holiday Presents that is hard for me to obtain? And by the way, what if I did not put my presents to the holiday tree once opening of presents started and once it’s ended? (Sorry, I’m always worried about this) My Holiday Tree is full of presents and I can’t put presents that are new anymore. I will better be careful in organizing these next time. I’m glad if this problem resolves and if not, it’s okay for me because only the one who controls FarmVille has the right to decide about this. Thank you in advance! :-)
