Fallout 4 Announced by Bethesda. Coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One

Fallout 4Fallout 4 has finally been announced by Bethesda, and will be coming out on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

The reveal was made official at 3pm following build up from yesterday which saw a countdown site activated promising an announcement, with a design familiar to Fallout players. Earlier today, the official Fallout 4 site went live, and was soon followed by the games’ launch trailer.

The trailer which was created with in-game footage confirms that the game will be set in Boston, Massachusetts. It is not yet known when the game is set, though. You can view the trailer below.

The game is being developed by Bethesda Game Studios under the direction of Todd Howard. It marks the first game for the team since The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim back in 2011.

“We know what this game means to everyone,” Todd Howard said, “The time and technology have allowed us to be more ambitious than ever. We’ve never been more excited about a game, and we can’t wait to share it.”

No release date in known for Fallout 4, yet, but Bethesda is preparing the games’ world premiere for their E3 conference on the 14th June, so you can expect more information revealed then. Bethesda’s panel is due to begin at 7:00pm PST.
