activisionLast year all the big games-related events were considered big failures, especially the E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) to which top publishers, including Activision refused to take part anymore. However, it appears that this year things will change a bit and E3 2009 might become the biggest games expo in the world. At least Activision comes back, which certainly means it can use the coverage.

“The 2009 E3 Expo will be the preeminent North American computer and video game event,” said Michael D. Gallagher, CEO of the ESA, which represents U.S. computer and video game publishers and owner of the Electronic Entertainment Exposition. “With robust exhibitor sales, high attendee interest, and strong commitments from multiple industry sectors, we are going to ensure the full excitement and energy of this industry is on display.”

Although Activision will be exhibiting at E3 (June 2-4, 2009), it has not, apparently rejoined the ESA’s membership ranks. But this matters least right now, when you probably wish to see the full list of participants. So here it is (please note that this is not the final E3 2009 participants list):
