ASUS N61JQ-B2

01 cheap gaming laptopn asus

It seems that every year we’re kicking off our best cheap gaming laptops list with an Asus laptop and for the cheap price it’s available for, I’m sure nobody will mind. This one has Intel Core i7-740QM Quad-Core Processor with Turbo Boost options for up to 2.8GHz. The screen size is not as impressive as we’re talking about a 16-inch display with a maximum resolution of 1366 x 768, but at this price you can’t be too picky. You get a 500GB Hard Drive, 4GB of DDR3 SDRAM (with an extra slot, so you can upgrade to 8GB) and a decent ATI HD5730 graphics card. Not anything to blow your mind, but if you only have $500 to spend, this one’s for you. Check it out on Amazon before it completely sells out.

HP Envy 15t i7-4510U

02 cheap gaming laptopn hp envy

I used to say that the Envy line of HP laptops will make fellow gamers envy you for the choice you’ve made, without knowing that you’re actually gaming on a piece that was under $1,000. And this year makes no difference, just an upgrade in specs. And what an upgrade with the 15t! We’re talking about a small 15.6 laptop, but with the heart of a beast: running on an Intel Core i7-4510U Dual Core Processor (4M Cache, 2.0GHz – 3.10GHz) and an amazing nVIDIA Geforce GTX 850M with 4GB of dedicated RAM. We also have a 1TB Hard Drive for all your games and 8GB of DDR3 RAM for an overall great cheap gaming laptop. It’s surely worth checking out – so click here to do so.

Sony VAIO SVF15328CXW

03 cheap gaming laptopn sony vaio

Many people say that the Sony Vaios are overpriced, but the truth is that we have managed to find an amazing deal for you – great specs for a laptop that can handle gaming and it’s still a Sony product, so we know it’s high quality we’re talking about. This particular laptop runs on a Intel Core i7 4500U processor which can still handle new games and deliver some decent performances, plus a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M graphics card. It had The Crew run decent on a medium resolution (27 FPS) and Dragon Age: Inquisition got up to 35 fps on 1024×768 resolution, so you have an amazing card powering your laptop! Available in both black and white colors, right here.

MSI GP60 LEOPARD-472

04 cheap gaming laptopn msi leopard

The leopard is a pretty fast animal so… are we talking about a similarly fast-paced beast for your computer games? We actually do, as the GP60 model from MSI runs on a great Intel Core i7-4710HQ 2.50 GHz, gives you 8 GB DDR3L SDRAM and 1TB of Hard Drive space for your titles and por… ahem! And despite being a 15.6-Inch Screen gaming laptop, it comes with full-hd support (1920 x 1080) and the amazing NVIDIA GeForce GT840M dedicated graphics card. Well.. now we’re talking! You’d better hurry though, as there are shy under 20 left on Amazon!

Generic 17.3″ HD LED Gaming Laptop

05 cheap gaming laptop generic

It’s time to bring up the big guy – literally and make an apparently risky choice with a “Generic” laptop. First off, let’s talks specs: 17.3 inches of eye candy, running on a 4th Gen Intel Core i7-4710MQ processor. It also has an NVIDIA GT750M and 4GB of RAM (but you can upgrade all the way to 16GB). It also supports a resolution of up to 1600 x 900 so you still get 720p HD. Now the tricky part is the Generic brand and we really thought it over a few times before recommending this gaming laptop. Some voices say that these are actually similar with the big name brands – as in manufactured by the same company – but without the branding itself. This makes the products a lot cheaper, but keeps the quality. So if you think you can go with this little “problem” click here to check out the product on Amazon. If not – you already have other options in this article!

So these are our picks for the best cheap gaming laptops of 2015. It seems that this year it’s a bit more difficult to find some really high quality products for such a low price, but if you want even more options (together with slightly lower specs, unfortunately) you can also check out our 2014 list as some of the products recommended last year are still in stock.
